AuthorTopic: Any cool choir-VSTis?

I'd like to have a decent and dedicated plug-in that can simulate male/female/mixed choirs. I've heard of the Symphonic Orchestra Silver Edition, but I don't really need all the rest and would prefer a smaller plugin.

Is something like that out there?

Thanks,
Zerobae

Not any vsti that I know of. But there is Big Tick Angelina (http://www.kvraudio.com/get/231.html). I think Sample Tank 2 free might have a choir sound. Also Sonic Synth 2 free if you can find it. Maybe someone will have better ideas than me.

Not a VST, but Spectrasonics' Symphony of Voices sampel library is to die for. Check out the demos.

The early buzz on EWQL Symphonic Choirs sounds promising as well. As mentioned above, this is sort of a VOTA II.

Caveat: high quality choral sounds are expensive, there is no way around it.

I will admit to having lusted after SOV, but I haven't come up with a serious enough need to make spending the money acceptable.

plus Tape Bank Vol.3 which has some nice new Choir Recordings, although it is a very identifiable sound and may not be quite what uo're looking for (also the 8 second limitation might be a distraction).
