AuthorTopic: an important reaktor problem, help!

hi I bought Reaktor Session and downloaded the latest update quite recently, but I today I've discovered an important problem that happens with some ensembles, carbon and Junatik so far...

I open Junatik in my FL Studio. I select a preset, and I play it with my midi keyboard. sounds great. now I write some notes uin the piano roll and play the sequencer to play those notes. and suddenly the Mod Envelope of the Junatik has turned all its values to zero and an almost imperceptible beep sounds.

something simnilar happens to Carbon. When I press play in the FL transport panel all the carbon oscillators turn to left and so the sound changes.

It's quite annoying since all my sounds change and I can't play the desired sounds. I've just posted this also on the NI forum of course.

any idea?

don't worry, it's not FL5. It's my old dear always worked perfectly FL4.52...

strange problem. I've just tried most of the ensembles I have and the ones that seem to give problems are Junatik and Carbon. The rest seem to work perfectly.

I enjoy Reaktor and I'm eager to use it in my new projects but these problems are disappointing me...

this would be a guess , as i don't use either of the .ens you are having problems with ...

both .ens are from the original disk , from the install ...

you may have more than one set of session .dlls in your vst folder ... check that you have only the most updated .dlls in your folder... remove any others ...

well they told me to uncheck the send pitch range option in the wrapper. well this works but only till I reopen the project again, the problem reappears then even when that option unchecked.

I'll bet FL's sending a reset all controllers and/or a program change message at the beginning of the sequence, and I'll be willing to bet THAT'S the problem...

this seems logical ...

the source , however ?...
a midi keyboard is mentioned ...
and , written notes , in the piano roll ...

a blank FLS channel will not contain these messages ... so it's being written in somehow ...

one thing to look at ...
under audio settings , there is a check box for 'reset all plug-ins at transport ' ...
toggle this , and see if it makes a difference ...

well in FL forum they have more or less solved my problem. I even saw an old post of a user who had exactly the same problem. The solution: to uncheck the 'send pitch bend range' option in the fruity wrapper. problem... when you open the project again you have to reselect the preset again. It seems the problem is solved in FL5, BUT since I have another problem with my FL5 that I've already posted here, so...anyway.

thanks to all of you who're always willing to help, you know who you are!
