I downloaded dahornet vsti. On the website it says that it's free. But after install I get asked for a serialnumber. I'm probably overlooking something very simple here. Can someone help me out ?

Yes, the serial number is on the download page somewhere. Bottom right, I think.

The serial number should be on the same pages as you downloaded it

Where ? I don't see it. Can someone just give me the number for the free download or is a new one generated for every download ?

I used the words "download page" which would naturally cause you to look for the page you showed in your link. The page you actually needed was the one that said "products". The serial is below the description of Da Hornet and also in the bottom right:

I don't think the serial number is included anywhere on the DashSignature website. So if it is downloaded from there, as i think monopoli did, punters have no idea of how to obtain the code.

scroll down the page (use the bar at the right side of your browser (your browser is the window in which you can view internet-pages) or use the scroll-wheel of your mouse (your mouse is the little thing you move with your hands to control what your computer is doing) until you see daHornet ( a little pic showing a black and yellow synthesizer) - below the little pic (which is called 'screenshot') there is written 'serial:' ('serial' is short for 'serial-number')

I seem to keep winning the "we're all typing at the same time" game. Wink

Thanks TechNoiZ (and the others) I posted at the same time as you did. I don't understand why they didn't just include the number in the download somehow. But I'm not complaining. A nice new synth for free is always nice. Very Happy

I guess because that would cause additional work without additional income...

Liqih just gives the link to the installer of the old commercial version...
