Hi
I was looking for something which could emulate the human voice pad built in the old Roland VP330..with no samples. Anyone can help me? I was looking at Voxynth or Concretfx' Vocal. Anyone tried these? Thanks for any advice! Max

I use Angelina sometimes and it can give a nice voice effect, together with other instruments. Solo it sounds a bit phony, and I use Sample Tank Free instead: there are two great patches for choirs, but I don't know if the 1st version is still available for download.

And for that matter don't loose your time with Sample Tank 2 Free: The Soprano Ahh sample sounds like a Theremin playing a sample of Daffy Duck

If you want human chiors to a hollywood standard and have a lot of spare cash try Spectrasonics Symphony Of Voices
http://www.spectrasonics.net/symphonyvoices.html Get the AKAI version which will work perfect in Halion.

Have a look at Gmedia's M-tron..reasonalby priced and I think it's Tape Bank1 has the VP330 choirs on them. I use the ensemble one most.

Ok
Thanks everyone for your opinions but what I was looking for was a not-through-samples emulation. I tested Angelina but there's something that lacks in the sound. Anyone tried ConcreteFX' "Vocal"
