I tried it at a friends house and man, it sounds bad. It couldnt sound more unnatural, i cant even imagine the amount of hours you would have to spend to make an even hald decent sound out of that thing

I'd rather spend the money on "pitch correcting" softwares rather than this...I've heard it...so not-even-close-to-sounding-real.
Go hire a singer, saves you time and energy. Zai

'Pricey Poop' at that. If each 'singer' was $35-$50 each - I might.... But at $350 or so for each - I DEFINATELY WON'T!

I've already put this up in this thread, but I'll say it again here:
Melody Assistant or Harmony Assistant from our friends in France at Myriad have Virtual Singer - not too bad if you pipe the .wav output through CloneEnsemble as I have. (shameless plug!) Melody = $20 (or if you must spend more - Harmony = $70) Virtual Singer = $20 CloneEnsemble = $25. Whole lot cheaper than Virsyn or Yamaha. -bjc As I've been getting requests, I'll be putting up how-to's at my site in the forseeable future. Happy New Year. -bjc |
