The tutorial does in fact show you how to load and map wav files. You'll have to load your own samples if you don't have the original files. Start on this page:
http://www.computermusic.co.uk/tutorial/ds404/4.asp Take the time to read through all the tutorials you can find on the DS404. I had only had one previous experience working with a sampler, and that was a hardware sampler. I found this tutorial really easy to follow.

ok then it was how I thought BUT there's a problem. When I press F1 it doesn't work in FL Studio since F1 is assigned for another usage in FL...

You're hitting f1 on your computer. That will bring up a help file no matter what app you're using on Windows The DS404 has four function keys with an "OK" button on the right. When it says f1 you actually hit the "1" button of the function keys. From there you will be able to load the samples and then map them. Great VSTi, but yes, it is a bit fiddly.

I guess DS 404 is the most wrongly designed GUI I've seen to date. Don't feel bad about not understanding it. I got it back a couple years ago, and opened the manual to learn how to use it. As I read the manual, I began to realize that everything about it was strangely over complicated and that if I didn't use it regularly, I wouldn't remember how to use it the next time I needed to use it.
