Here'e a little something I threw together for a video-themed party I played last weekend.
They had a video projector, a big screen, and the bands were to play to the video. 'Twas a blast!! Anyhow, here's a clip we used for that party. This version has the "complete" music mix. The version we used live had only the bass, drums & a couple sound effects. The rest was done live (and in yer face There's no personal appearances by your's truly in this video (thank god! O.K. enough of my yappin' - here's the links. There are two sizes Regular http://www.proconmusic.com/Foxholevid.wmv and Super-Sized http://www.proconmusic.com/Foxholevidbigger.wmv Enjoy!

Glad you guys dig the video!
Teksonik, the skeletons are from an old Popeye cartoon titled "Shiver me Timbers". Other clips like the guitar-playing Wolfman were pulled from The Hilarious House of Frightenstien http://www.frightenstein.com , an awesome kids show from the early seventies produced here in Canada. It also featured Vincent Price! I worshipped that show as a kid... Ahhh memories.... Uh, back to topic... Other stuff was just ramdomly pulled from the internet ie: drum-playing robots etc. Anyways guys, thanks a lot!

I always wondered what it would sound like if Gene Simmons made an electroclash track ... now I know the answer! Seriously, though; good song, good video. I, too, make videos with strictly second-hand material (but I'm too shy to share it here). Keep up the good work!

Gene Simmons & electroclash... Y'know, I think you have me pegged! I've always had a weak spot for sleazy bat-winged creatures, and I obviously looove things that go "bleep" in the night... Hence my being here in the first place! Don't be shy about posting your videos Svante, my partner in crime had to basically hold a knife to my neck to get this video up! Besides, I always like it when people post video clips! It's a nice change of pace...

I`m just now learning digital vid. Hope to do something in the future for kvr! Liked the editing, and the song especially. Played it on my pc speaks, and the spacial mix sounded wide and wonderful!

You had me at 'Hilarious House Of Frightenstein'! It's a wonder you didn't have some Joe Flaherty 'Count Floyd' in this as well? (Maybe you do?) Okay, almost ready for show time!.... MAN! This a GREAT video! Like a Stereolab flick on speed! Really nicely done! Supreme Kudos to the Count!

Annode,
Yes I produced, co-wrote & recorded this track here in my little studio. After I tracked it, I passed it onto my producer friend for a 3rd party mix. I love what he did with what I gave him! Unfortunately, I don't think the extreme compression of the .wmv format does the mix much justice... oh well... I look forward to checking out your videos in the near future! JDub, I'm so glad someone here recognizes the Wolf Man! OOOOOOOUUUUUUUUU! (that's a howl... cough, cough....) Anyways, I see that your from Toronto too, so no wonder you recognize the genious of Billy Van (RIP). He died last year. Was a sad day - I posted a little picture of him as the Wolfman by my desk at work as a memorial. Gotta get myself together... Wipe... Yeah, Wolfies' bat guitar kicks ass too! Gotta get me one with midi! I would love to see a Tim Burton "Ed Wood" style movie about the making of the Hilarious House, would be an awesome movie if left in the right hands. Peace

Very cool .It ROXX! | ||

The song on it's own would be amazing but the video makes it a totaly amazing experience.
Nicely edited so the individual elements still sync to the tune. The guitar playing wolfman rocks, what bitchen moves! Is the tune anywhere as an MP3 so I can put it on my MP3 player or just listen without having to play the vid everytime?

Oh man! Billy Van died??? And the Comedy Channel used to run The Hilarious House of Frightenstein at weird hours on weekdays or weekends? I remember getting up with a hangover at like 6am on a Sunday morning - and there's Vincent reading his warped poetry to a skull, or the Librarian reading stories that weren't scary... Fantastic show! What a bummer it's off the air yet again, and Billy's dead. PS - Like the 'Conffessions of a Frightsteined Mind' movie idea too! I'm getting Spike Jonze on the blower right now!

Steve,
I'm truly flattered that you like my stuff enough to put in your mp3 player! Try this: www.proconmusic.com/Foxhole.mp3 enjoy! Look out for the Kings Have Long Arms http://www.kingshavelongarms.co.uk remix of Foxhole - coming soon!!!! - can't wait!!! 'Scuse me here while I get outta promo-mode... (peel...) Ahhh... Back to normal... J Dub, Yeah, Billy Van's passing was a real bummer - but you know what makes things even worse? Ready for this? The master tapes of the entire Hilarious House series have been destroyed!!! Remember the super-hippy on the show? Well, I heard something along the lines that he was related to the producer of the show. Supposedly, storage for the tapes was getting too expensive - so "Uncle of Super-Hippy" cut his losses, and had the tapes destroyed! FUCKER!!!! A true tragedy... Forget about ever seeing Hilarious House of Frightenstien on DVD. Even more reason to make the movie. Did you hear from Spike Jonze yet? The castle lights have grown dim There's no-one left, but me and him When next we meet at Frakenstone Don't.... Come alone... Puff!
| Steven West | Posted: 3rd April 2004 20:23 | |
Oh man! That is SERIOUSLY SAD! Looks like Spike is doing another skateboard shoot for Jackass II 'Still Fuckin' Around'... Hhhhhm, I wonder what David Lynch is doing these days? Or Roger Corman? I liked the show, but you are TRUELY a fan! You got it memorised better than Fahrenheit 451. Don't let anyone ever steal it from you! Recite and educate the masses!

Hmmmm "Reverend Count Feedback of Frightenstein" I kinda like the ring of that! Thanks for the encouragement! Now, I'm off to start my cult!

Hey guys!
As a big fan of Count Floyd...you`ve enlightened me on where his character came from. Now,I`m on a mission to see one of those frightenstein shows! I know where to look...I`ll post one if I get one! Until then...http://home.comcast.net/~newdabranck/images/billyvan-clip.mpg OWWWWWWWLLLLLL
| Count Feedback | Posted: 4th April 2004 11:00 | |
Ah yes,
The education of Frightenstein continues! Count Floyd definately shares some similarities, with HHOF's Count - actually, I'd be suprised if Count Floyd wasn't inspired by HHOF! SCTV owes a lot to Billy Van and his brand of humour... And i'm sure if you asked Joe Flaherty about his "Count", he'd mention HHOF. Another thing you may notice when you download the episode is the theme music. It's laden with primitive synths! One of my first exposures to "fake" sounds. I don't know what was used for the theme music, but it wouldn't suprise me if it was an old Moog system - seeing as Trumansburg N.Y. (home of Moog - late 60's, early seventies) was fairly close to the production. But that's all speculation... Hope you enjoy the show! (Downloading another episode right now!)
