Need to relax

Properbly should have waited and done something more polished, but I needed to get this months competion out of the system, so I could get on with other things. (It DID help).

Homegrown samples in Cubase SX and a lot of Reason.

This one isn't new, but it fits the theme so I figured I'd post it anyway.

It's called [ v173 ].

Made using only 1 instance of 3xOsc (beginning), one TS404 (end), and a little bit of drums, other than the vocal sample.

I really should rework this a little bit someday and give the drums a little more 'oomph'. The acid 404 at the end could use a little filter cut on it too.

Anyway, I thought it would be fun to share.

My entry for this month is Nereidum. That's where I was born. Don't live there anymore though. Moved to Jo'burg some time ago. The noise was caused by VSampler and some samples, guitars played by Sepheritoh and some vocals by various Nerds (the locals from Nereidum). All captured digitally and mashed for your listening horror in Sonar 3.1.1PE.

Hi there...
I'm new to this site... seems nice... blah blah... Smile

Anyway, as soon as I saw that there is a contest, I had to show off Very Happy I came home today from couple-of-days-vacation (Croatian sea Wink, and on the road was such a m.f. traffic jam. Man, it took me 6 hours, usualy it takes around 3. Everybody was pissed, driving nuts. Then I came home and did this track. - http://www.angelfire.com/jazz/sason/04-04-Sason_Le_Klee-Dont_Push_Me.o gg -
Took me 3h to do it (note that now is 5 in the morning). Cubase SX, I played everything with my lovely Fatar master keyboard. All VST instruments, yaall know what ones. Mastered in 5mins in TRacks. Hope you like this funky fieldtrip Wink
So, Don't Push Me!!!

The other day my neighbour was in and he was fooling with the keys a bit and I fed him sounds. Quite unusual how he played the keys though. I recorded three sequences (2 Rez, 1 EZPoly) and stored it thinking I could use it for the Hurry Up challenge.... Added sounds from the SY85 and Juno60 to it, and tried some vocal harmonies, run through the A5000 sampler. Pretty weird stuff Razz

Key to the Fun

Lyrics:

Cause there's a time to race
Now is the time to face
This world should love again
to save the human race

So hurry up and run
A time for love begun

All you need
Key to the Fun

Enjoy Very Happy

Here is my submission for this month's contest. It's concept is the sonic interpretation of those quaint old drawings you'll find in science magazines from the 60s and 70s that imagined the future as this bustling over crowded place with flying cars and everyone lives under a giant dome and we all move along quickly by conveyor belt =)

http://www.tmsexchange.com/blitz/blitz-04-04-the-Future.mp3

Enjoy.

Here's my song LEVIATHAN

Big thanx to Wolepka for hosting it.

The song was made using a few instances of my mighty z3ta, some killer washing machine samples, and NI's Battery loaded up with DFH (the new add-on).

I had to cut out my intro due to the fact that I got so overzelous with the project that it ran a bit longer than the 2 minutes alotted time limit.

Hope you guys like it Very Happy

My submission for this month:

Waiting in Church

Inspired by childhood impatience with Sunday church services, wishing I could play outside.

Made with FL Studio using horn, flute and church bell soundfonts.

Don't you just hate long intros? In this track the bassist revels in the sheer evil of his bloated intro - good thing the rest of the band is still awake to start rocking!

Well here's my song...

Hurry Up

Don't think my mastering technique is quite up to the standard of others (what I need is a good Mastering EQ plugin!! Wink ). Though I'm pleased with the "Dualing" acoustic guitars.

By the way all guitar samples from this song are available on me web-site (click banner below)
