New track out the door from Article 9
(vurt and Glassback for those who don't know)

chaos theory

is another one of our evolving experimental constructions.

It's all in the title.

Enjoy Very Happy

Nice job guys.

I liked it overall. Wasn't too keen on the drum sounds. I thought a more electronic sounding kit might have worked better.

Other than that, I enjoyed it Smile

[???]1st a9 trACK ive ListeNED to TbH[/???modality]

bit of anthony hopkins in there ???

definitely a track of 2 halves ...

... part one shows a definite vurtian influence - all one-finger holds and effects chains ...

... then comes the micklike 4/4 kick around 2-30 ...

... part 2 (from 2-55 on for me) is where this gets interesting to these lugholes - a bit of rhythm - a bit more chaos and im liking it more and more ...

... overall pretty cinematic and evocative in sound

You know, the funny thing is, we're both as responsible for all the sections as the other, although I will take the blame for the 4/4's Embarassed
We'd been working on this weird chaotic tune and it was kind of just plodding nicely along, I thought - then vurt disappeared to the bog and I could hear him cursing as he came down the stairs
"mumble mumble mutter, I leave the room 5 minutes and he sticks a fkin 4/4 in there, mutter groan.."
then admitted that it fits Laughing

Now THAT's what we were kind of aiming for. Thanks Very Happy

Well there's a manic distorted to fk set and a crystal clear trip-hop kit sounding like some sort of power drums or something: what do you want from me? Crying or Very sad

More in the pipeline.
Some unusual stuff we're working on as well as the normal madness Cool

Thanks for the comments Krim and pHz Very Happy

I really liked this. The opening feels like a film score with the moody strings. I like the distorted lead sound and the tune just gets better when the beats come in. Good work, 8/10 Very Happy Cool

I like the chattery vox running thru this as well. Funnily enough I have a new track which does something similar (only not as well obviously Very Happy )

hmmm;

person 1: "I really love the beats towards the end..."

person 2: "I'm not too keen on the beats towards the end..."

Laughing Laughing Laughing Help

Thanks for the comments lex.
Speaking as one half of Article 9 disguised as.... one half of Article 9, I like both sets for different reasons and I think they compliment each other.
The clean set coming in off the back of the fked-up set really make them stand out imo.
But I've heard your music and you're a weirdo anyway Very Happy

Fart drums eh?
That gives me an idea - where's my mic? Shocked
