I hope this link works

or else http://www.panicnow.net/~marco and get 'beats v 01' .

No four to floor for a change, and I finally managed to more than doodle about with the epiano plug...hehe bear with my solo skills, but it never seems to work while actually recording Confused

Insert praise, critique and murder threats below. The bass might be a litte strong, but then keep in mind it's still meant as a kind of dancey number, albeit a relaxed one.

pretty cool bonte, I like the beats
but you've really got to do some variation with those chords you're vamping over.
Try different inversions,
different rhthyms, velocity etc.

Is this a cover of rdonkelly- ohhhlaydeee HiHi I sense the influence of greels..... Laughing

not bad, get some crooning on it, a few breakbeat loops underneath the rhythm (it's a bit German at present). Funk gitar definitely needed too.

Get on with the fucking Smiths song! Mad Laughing

I like it...a lot! The piano chord repetition is (imho) the only weak spot. What did you use for the drums?

Cool tuna Bonts....

The only thing that got on my nerves a bit was the constant repeating e-piano chord. Variation would have made a much more interesting listen.

The piano-solo play is swell, keep practicing. Cool touch were those choirs btw.....

mellow stuff bonte ...

... nice to hear something from you without any oonts (although the kick in this track IS pretty meaty) ...

... as with everyone - the epiano chords get a bit - well - boring after a while ... the choir sounds DO work really well though and the playing is WAY beyond what i can manage so thats cool for me too ... nice little variations in the rhythm track helping to break the track up a bit and counteract the 'issue' with the chords ...

... only really jarring thing for me is the shaker sound - might be the .mp3 encoding but its REALLY insistent and harsh to my ears ...

... overall - nice mellow vibe with a cafe culture kinda feel to it

slainte Very Happy rob

Thanks for all the replies...greels eh ?? Very Happy

And Doug: I used one of the RMIV's construction kits for the drums (RnB DIY),
with a little help from one of my countless crash hits, plus a very nice accoustic kit for the exsp24 ( the high passed loop).
