OK - this is still early yet, and is in progress, but thought people might get a kick out of it, as it's the first track I've done with the Monomachine. All synth parts are from the mono - sequenced and played live from the built in sequencer, no processing save for some compression in logic,

You are going quite ambient with the background sounds on this Michael. A very welcomed surprise I may add, half in half expecting a good beating and waking up song. Now my mind just keeps drifting on the atmosphere, brutaly being dragged out of it by the monsterly filtered beats And I love it And even when you say this track is still in progress I think you have a crack of an opener here.

Sounds like a cross between sisters of mercy and prodigy. Like the beats, dont like the synth sounds of melodies. Just my shite opinion

this is easily the bst wretch song i've heard so far but there's a problem, it does not sound like the wretch, it's .... MUSIC! great song michael, not just great fun this time

me like too.... i'm quite into the direction u r taking the Wretch stuff - keeping the brutal-ness in clear(?) focus, but bringing a bit more of ur Etherine style to the proceedings. monomachine sounds the bizniz too

thanks everyone Yeah - much much more "melodic" - I've been thinking that having more melody to bring in and out will add a whole new dimension to the project - give it alot of variety and kick the album into gear. The monomachine rocks for this - just kick down some oldschool stepsequenced melody mayhem, and go to town ok, it's beautiful outside, I think I should try and get out there and get some sunshine... michael |
