Hi Folks
Broomstick dosn't work in Logic8 with Tiger 10.4.11 on an IntelMac.
It work in Cubase Studio 4.1 with Tiger 10.4.11 on an Intelmac.
Strange!
Though audiostreaming stutter now and then.
Irritating!
Please all user of IntelMac - write Sven a letter and ask him to make it work.

I downloaded the DEMO, but it doesn't work either with Logic (AU) or KORE 2 (VST). I mean, nothing happens, the software is not recognized
My system is OSX 10.4.11 -iMac INTEL 2.O GHZ, 4 MB RAM.
Am I doing something wrong?

Just checked the FAQ on their site. The Mac version has not been ported to work on the Intel machines as yet, so it's not going to work until they do. Sorry...
You have to make sure plugs are Universal Binary comaptible or they won't work on a Mac Intel. Went through this a couple years ago when I bought my MacBook.
Of course, you could always learn how to play the bass until then.

May I suggest ManyBass or if you have Reason, get the new Bass refill.
But if you're looking for easy chord recognition bass line with Broomstick, I think the wait will be for a long time yet.

I just wanted to bring attention to this thread again, I am still waiting to be able to purchase a intelmac version of this plugin, theres no working version of this for any mac shipping or in production currently.
Any info towards this being released would have me whipping out my wallet.

And bump again.

Don't hold your breath. I'm thinking that it might not even happen...unless they're working on Broomstick 2. But I also doubt that they are....

Yep i know, but i personally think it's kind of rude not to answer and keep people in the dark etc, hence the bump.
Last post he made on his own forum was half a year ago !

Correction, the "half a year ago post" was nothing, skip that.
Before that one there's a Feb 2008 that spells "trouble in paradise".

I use BB with Cubase Studio 4.5.2 on iMac 20'' 2.66ghz 4gb ram, MACOSX 10.5.6 without any problem. I will try it later in Logic 8.02. Unfortunately, being a PPC plugin, I can't wrapped it with VST-RTAS wrapper in order to use it in my main DAW, Pro Tools LE 8.
So, I can't tell that my 49 Euros were completely wasted.

Hello
I like BB a lot, but have not ben able to use it since i changed to Intelmac. Using Macbook pro OSX10.6.4. Main DAW Pro Tools.
Then I got Reaper DAW and Broomstick Bass suddenly worked - and I can rewire it into Pro Tools. Great.

Hi! I downloaded Reaper but get the message "Could not find factory sample library".
How did you install BB?
