Hi,
RG 1.5 and BLUE 1.8 are still using soft-eLicenser.
Untill we released RG 1.6 and BLUE 1.9 (November/December)

Other products, please do upgrade to:
- SubBoomBass 1.1
- RP-VERB 1.5 (which holds also RP-Delay)
- Predator 1.6
So if you receive a boxed version of one of our products.
Do register and upgrade from the start.
Example with SubBoomBass 1.1:
To upgrade from SubBoomBass 1.0 to SubBoomBass 1.1 you will need to:
1) Register SubBoomBass 1.0 in the "My Products" page with the SBB 1.0 authorization code, if you haven't already.
2) Click on "Upgrade", an email with the new SBB 1.1 serial will be sent to you.
3) Then download the appropriate version of SBB from the "Download Page".
4) When you next use SBB in your host it will ask you to enter new SBB 1.1 serial.

Hi Martin,
We just replied. It only happens on some systems. Very strange.
So we try to trace what this causes.
Make a new song (fresh song) and then load Predator and do load enter the serial. Maybe that does fix it.
Could be that it is now blacklisted. Read below
Rob
-------------
1) Make sure that the correct version of the plugin is installed.
For 32 bit versions of Cubase you should use the 32 bit versions of our plugins.
For 64 bit versions of Cubase you should use the 64 bit versions of our plugins.
We also recommend that you use the single core version of our plugins.
2) For Cubase you may have to delete the blacklist file.
This happens if the plug-in did crash.
Vst2xBlacklist.xml. This can be found at
XP
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Steinberg\<version of Cubase>\Vst2xBlacklist.xml
Vista and Windows 7
C:\Users\\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\<version of Cubase>\Vst2xBlacklist.xml
Where <user name> is your user name and <version of Cubase> is the version of Cubase such as Cubase5
This folder may not visible on your Windows systems. You may have to change the folder options to enable the display of hidden files and folders.
Deleting this file will force Cubase to do a rescan on all the plugins.
4) Open up Cubase, in Devices > Plugin In Information, click on the "VST 2.x Plugin Path" button, and in the VST 2.x Plugin Path window make sure that path to our plugin folder is there, if it is not you will need to add it. After this in the "Plugin Information" window, click on both update buttons, so to update the plugin information.
5) Close download Cubase and then reopen it.
6) Open up the plugin and enter your serial [only for new serials]

Quick question. Does the above mean that this month / december i will be able to purchase Predator and SubBoom (the latest versions) with a serial? I will not have to install additional soft-eLicenser C/R software?
Thanks

Every month from now onwards

Hi,
i just wanted to update Blue and Predator to the latest versions and the new system but for some reason my account doesn't work anymore.
I have just requested a new password and got it but i still get no access.
My username for the account is the same as here on KVR.
Maybe it takes some time until the new password is active?
UPDATE:
i just tries with internet Explorer 9 and now it works. The problem seems to be that i had saved the password with Safari and now it always wants to use the old one.

Hi there
Cool, anything else we can do just let us know.
Cheers

Hi Jon,
not at the moment, thanks. All updates downloaded, installed and working now!!
The problem must have been based on the fact that i saved the login data in Safari and it was not possible to use the new password. No problems in Internet Explorer 9.

Yes, i haven't used Blue and Predator for some time but they are still great. I had both since v1.0 AFAIK. I also got the Rob Lee soundset for Predator (directly from Rob Lee BTW).
Maybe you could help Rob Lee with a "small" problem:

He has some problems with his USB dongle which also contains Rob Papen software.
Best wishes,
Ingo

@DJ Orbit, Rob, and Jon:
I have the exact same issue with Blue on my system, but not only does it crash C6, it's also crashing Live 821. I've installed the multicore 32 bit version, so I'm going to try the single core and see if that doesn't work for me as well.
Concretefx - Mon Apr 25, 2011 10:49 pm
Hi there
Good point about Rob_Lee , I've posted there.
pandashake, that is odd. If you havne' update to Blue 1.9, and try that version (starting with single core to start with), and it should work.
Cheers
Jon

After uninstalling 1.8 MC, and installing 1.9, I'm in business. I didn't know there was a 1.9 update, so all is good!
Thanks Jon!

Hello Rob :
I just installed and was running the latest 64bit demo version of Predator on my Windows 7 system with Cubase 5.5.2 64bit and everything was working great.
I was working on an electronica song where Predator really was adding something special to the track, and, as I was tweaking the preset, I was coming up with better and better sounds and I was so excited...but...then the sound reverts to the stock preset ! Major bummer Rob. I couldn't duplicate the tweaked version o matter what I tried...it was a magic moment lost.
I know it's difficult to protect the software and I understand and accept the "timed trial" but can I suggest that saving presets be enabled during the timed trial ? At least when I buy Predator all of that inspired work will not be lost.
You know a synth is good when it inspires you to create. Predator did that for me. Thanks Rob.
Rob Papen - Mon Jun 27, 2011 2:04 am
Hi,
The demo version does not save the preset changes.
This function is fully disabled.
Therefore it is a demo version. If you make something that is cool, best is to write it down (changes and parameter setting) in case you like to use it again in the full version.
We have to limit down the demo version of course.

Yes, I didn't think to write down the changes during the demo phase....probably was too excited..."oh, this is good...."Oh that's even better...Oh- Oh..." you know how t goes. But, thanks Rob. Really nice instrument.
If I had one wish for Predator, it would be that the arpeggiator would have an optional graphic "bar" style display that is clickable for each of the sixteenth notes and their respective velocities. It's nice to be able to see the pulsating, energy in this way rather than numerical....at least for me.

we have also tune and the free row in the arpeggiator
so grafic bar style looks great, but we do not have room for it

Dear Rob.
I am writing you here because your website has been blocking all of my attempts to contact you through your liberal use of the CAPTCHA security phrase system.
I need to access my account but can not get access with my password. as well,
I am unable to access my information due to the CAPTCHA security system. I have tried countless times. In addition, I feel as if I have jumped through a dozen hoops just to keep this software updated; new account handlers, buying updates for new OS, I do not want to waste more time in order to keep this in my rig. I have sold your software to countless musicians. Please don't let your web security block the loyal customer enthusiasm. Again, I dislike making this request public, but I have no choice.
You can respond through this forum or access my account info under 1thread.
thank you.
Concretefx - Sun Jul 03, 2011 9:07 am
That is very odd, we have had no problems with captcha reported to us beforehand.
Also we do not charge for updates, we have never charged for updates, so I'm not sure what you mean about this.
Ok, I'll pm you about this.
Cheers
Jon
