Ohhh yeah! You prefer not just a usual music. You like something MORE for your soul and heart. And really often some deep electronic music can describe you thoughts and feelings. What artist, songs and tracks REALLY dig into your soul?

Mine:
Autechre-Cichli
Panet Boelex-Suunta
ESEM-dispehrse
Aphex Twin-Flim

And more...

Tell yours as well, so we know:)

Liberace, and his pal. Hug
He's so electric, and tronic too...ooo ahhh...oh and those wonderful rings, I've just got to get me sum...uh, uh. HiHi
No seriously, I just buy any cd that say Goa in it, and it's all good.
Strange thing is the word Goa, should really be spelled Gao. It's not said as Go-ahh, it's said as Gaw, which means "high" in chinese language, and is said as Gaw.

I don't know if electronic music can "dig into my soul" even if I do love electronic music. The music that digs into my soul tend to be songs with emotionally or intellectually compelling lyrics, or music with an emphasis on expressing emotions with conventional harmonies and melodies (film scores for example).

My love for electronic music is more about my love for sound--the possibilities of sound. I love Kraftwerk, Yellow Magic Orchestra (and solo works from members), Art of Noise, Yello, Orbital, 808 State, and progressive house in general. I'm also a fan of industrial music, and the one that's more on the electronic side I like would be Bigod 20. I like some Front 242 and Front Line Assembly as well, and of course Skinny Puppy.

A lot of trip-hop is electronic, and Massive Attack's Mezzanine album has some amazing tracks.

I grew up on alternative/modern rock, so synthpop is a big part of my early influences--Depeche Mode and New Order were the two big ones.

Some of my favorite electronic music came from film/game scores. The track "Fade" (ending credit theme) from Sakamoto Ryuichi's score for Royal Space Force: Wings of Honneamise is still one of my all-time favorite electronic tracks. It is multi-layered and contains a lot of subtle beauty that you may not hear until you've listened to it a few times.

The track "Medicine Mix" from Harumi Hosono's album Medicine Compilation - From The Quiet Lodge is also a long-time favorite. It's very understated and minimal (essentially one single note throughout the entire track), but the way it builds over time just grabs me.
