I wanted to inform you that light patches for the Grand Kalimba sample library are now available! If you have purchased Grand Kalimba, I've already sent you an email with this information and the download link. All future purchases of Grand Kalimba will automatically include these light patches.

These use 4x round robin rather than 8x and two velocity layers instead of three. These light patches use 310 MB of samples, which is 35% the size of the full patch. When loaded in Kontakt 2, the patch uses 40% of the memory used by the full patch, and in Kontakt 3 it uses 65%. This translates to faster loading time and less RAM usage, at the sacrifice of more round-robin alternate samples and fewer velocity layers.
