Does AlgoMusic allow resale and license transfers of their products? Is there any fee involved?

I was wondering the same thing. I think someone sold a copy of atomic recently. I'm trying to find out what's involved in the license transfer process if anyone knows. Smile

I've seen several AlgoMusic plugins being sold at the Market Place, so I guess the licenses are transferable.

Someone must know what the license transfer procedure is. Smile

Did you find out szurcio? At this rate be better off contact the devs!

Algomusic does not allow license transfers.

I mailed to them about selling my Atomic and the response I got yesterday was
"Sorry, we don't allow license transfers anymore."

Strange! I got an email telling me i had to give them the new owners name and email addy. Confused

Maybe they have separate policies for the AMB (Atomic etc.) plugin line and their own Algomusic stuff then ?

If you got the approval then sell it.

May I ask when you got your email answer?
I got my answer 4th March, I think I sent my request 28th of Feb, or 1st of March.
I'm not sure about the date because I used the support form on the webpage.

I'll have to dig through my emails but it was only a couple of weeks ago, earlier than the 28th Feb anyway. I used the support form as well but the reply date will be most relevant anyway...

I got a reply on the 26th of Feb. So they must have changed it within that week. I've emailed them to get to straight anyway, seems odd that they would have changed it so suddenly...

Got a reply from Dr Ambient and they stopped doing transfers on the 1st March. So it's official. Don't mind keepin Atomic anyway. Smile

Yep, got to use it some more then Wink

They should atleast put some info about their products being NFR on their site.

What new owners? Who? If you mean Dr Ambient, he ran Algo with the late Tim Conrardy from the beginning..

Yeah, I'm thinking the reason for the lack of activity here and the Algomusic site(other than the release of CZynthia) is may be Dr.Ambient is still in grieving, from every thing I've read it seems Dr.Ambient and Tim Conrardy were very close. The dealings I've had with Dr.Ambient are more than good, he has encouraged my venture into sound design and has been very help full.

I'm not using my Czynthia, so looking here if I can sell or license transfer, sorry to hear he was good friends with TC(I've just been playing with his sounds in Alchemy today)! If Dr.Ambient is reading this could he post an answer if possible, many thanks!
Limeflavour - Fri Sep 10, 2010 10:00 pm
They stopped doing license transfers on March the 1st 2010 so you're probably not going to be able to sell your license.
If you however manage to get a go to sell, please write back here because my Atomic is still gathering dust...
