Hi,
the fact that the forum Navigation now highlights the current area in Green is potentially confusing.

I clicked Forum -> Search, entered my search term, and the pressed the green 'Search' button, and was surprised to see myself back at the search page. Because the real search button is not visible without scrolling, users may get confused by this. Took me a couple of presses to work out what was going on, but new users may well be confused by this.

Hope you understand what I'm saying - just a minor point anyway - congrats on the new look and thanks for the hard work.

I don't think I've ever pressed the search button on that form, just pressed return..

No, nor had I - until that big green 'button' with Search written on it appeared at the top of the search page!
