Hi KVR users,
I've made a VSTi plugin using synthedit, it's called AP1/c.
The inspiration came from early 80s analog pianos, like Roland PianoPlus HP70.
I'd be very glad to receive comments about it (sound?, GUI?, ...), and I'd be more than happy if someone else uses it and let me know.
Here it is, it's free:

...just to tempt you

this is the GUI :

Well now, I was goin ta up and download it, but it says
"Website under review"
apparently your free hosting service is too cheap, do you have a direct link to the file? Thank you kindly

ooops,
i guess a website with only a single downloadable .rar file is a little suspect...
i'll fix it asap
thanks

Cool, I'll check it out now, I've seen that message before, I assumed it was a free hosting thing.
I like Rar archives as well, I've had a Winrar license for 13 years now.

The link didn't work for me, it stopped way early. I'd recommend Dropbox or Box.net for file hosting.

uhm, that's strange

... I tried and worked... I also have a download counter and it says it's working properly now...

nope. tried to download it, firefox says "file size: -1 Byte".
BTW, as it's a .DLL file, I'm guessing Win x86 only? :/

ok,
I cannot figure out why, but it seems I'm going to change service provider.
Thanks for your time

The download worked for me. Loaded it in EnergyXT and this is what came up:
time an illusion -- an effect-drenched minor chord jam, with three instances of the plugin, handling lead, skank and bass! Drums are from Drumaxx.. No hiccups or crashes, works well.
Gotta say I very much enjoy this one, might put it to some use in future. I use this kind of sounds quite often, it's great to have more variety. Thanks! Keep up the good work.
The mono-button seems a bit clicky at times, even though attack is set to slow. And would be nice to have some control over the phaser (sounds nice though as it is).
PS. When the bass kicks in, box.net mp3 compression seems to put a hiss on the track, you can download it in better quality if you want ..

wow!
thank you ras.s, for the very nice mellow song and for your appreciation!
i'd be glad to ear other creations
regarding the mono button: could it be it's due to the fact that envelopes are set to re-trigger mode? maybe i could change it...

A bump for this one.. Maybe you should ask to move this over to the Instruments-forum to give it more attention? Surely deserves some, a good sounding synth.
Don't know about that re-triggering - have you experimented with it already? The clicking diminishes when glide is around at half and there's some attack to it. Gives a nice lead sound that way, but would be great without clicking at zero glide.
Cheers.

I Like its sound.
I may use it in a project that i work now, i ll let you know.
But I think it needs a release knob.
I find it necessary in such instruments.
