Hi
I have a problem with the new Cherry Bass Nki.
I pretty much always get a crackling noise when i play a halftone hammeron or pulloff to C#3,D3 or D#3 (where the D4 sample is mapped) using the non muted fingered.
The same thing happens where the B4 samples is mapped and upwards.
Playing the pulloff and slide samples from the Kontakt Wave Editor is fine.
Changing the source to samples seems to fix the problem as does converting the ncw to wav. Both ways need more memory though.
Also changing HQI to high makes for even prettier noise in the described scenario.
Maybe someone has an idea as to whats wrong.
I have a similar problem with the nylon guitar from that other dev, but in that case its only release samples which i don't mind loading in ram fully.

Interesting--I wonder if moving the "sample mod" control for those samples (which basically loads a portion of the sample into RAM) would also fix it. Would you mind going into the Kontakt settings, to the memory tab, and try increasing the preload size buffer? (and make sure the "override instrument's preload size" box is checked)

Sure, done.
I changed the preload size to 240 kb, overriding the instrument setting.
No change.
Moved the SMod even further back, going to 10-15 seconds, no change
Moved the sample start back a bit, no change.
I also streched the lower octave samples to that prolematic range, same thing happens when playing higher up. ^^
I am puzzled.
