Hi All,

I've started a "Sound-A-Day" project this year.
'Julian Sound Calendar 2012' is a free sound library, which I'm creating during 2012. Most of the sounds for this project are Pads, Soundscapes, SFX, Atmos and other my favorite categories. So, visit periodically to check it out for new additions and updates.
All the sounds are NI Kontakt 3.5 instruments format with ModWheel assigned and some knobs for general control. Listen to audio previews in the player and click on sound's name to download (might take a few seconds to start).

These instruments are free to use in your commercial and non-commercial musical works. You can not trade, resale or distribute these sounds in any way.

UPDATE:

The whole "Julian Sound Calendar" library (6+GB) is now available to purchase ($15) and download (4 ZIP archives):

JILIAN SOUND CALENDAR (366 instruments for NI Kontakt)
Atmospheric / Pads / Leads / SFX / Keyboards / Strings / Vocal / Soundscapes

Cheers,
Julian

Ah the Julian Calender. Introduced the leap-year so that a couple of thousand years later we'd get 366 free patches instead of 365. Apart from that, what have the Romans ever done for us?

Thanks Julian.

The Time Stretching Device works this way: when you need more than 24 hours in day you can use it to make it, for example, 36 hours in day. Of course, some artifacts can appear (like blur vision or some time paradox effects), but it deserves to try Wink

Hi Julian,

Also, I was wondering if it would be possible to create a zip file at the end of each month as well, to save having to download every single sound one at a time.

Thanks again.

Hi Ben,

You're welcome Smile

Thanks for the input, but I have a solid reasons do not do it right now. The idea of "Calendar" is that every day a new sound has appears and people, who likes that idea just come, listen and download what they like. Making Zip archives for just a "blind" download will ruins the whole idea. Another reason is my traffic which is high enough already and grows day by day. Besides, there are other reasons like I'm trying to make my website and my music more visible... I'm not asking people to register or follow me on Facebook or other things like this. I do not put Google ads in every cells of my pages - so it shouldn't be so uncomfortable just to visit my website time to time to take something for free Smile

I most probably will do it at the end of year, because my free Soundcloud account will be completely filled with audio samples.

I hope you understand.

Hi Julian,

Can you please check the Jan 17 - Ascension file, as I am pretty sure that this is broken?

I have tried 12 times now to download it, 6x with IE and 6x with FF and I keep getting an unexpected end of file error.

This is the only file that does not download successfully for me, which is why I suspect that there may be something wrong with it.

Thank you very much.

How can I download the Kontakt files?
When I am on the Julian Sound calendar I click on the soundfiles name ( for example "Cloudland"). Then a soundcloud window opens where I can hear the sound as audio file. But I cannot download a Kontakt file.
What do I make wrong?
Many thanks for help.

Just wanted to add my appreciation for your work here! Downloaded Jan - Sept over the last day or so and can only imagine the work you had to do to prepare all the sounds!

Good stuff and thanks!

Was just going to listen to a few from Nov, but now I can't play anything as there is even more stuff blocked at work that didn't used to be blocked.

Will have to do it from home.
