Hi Rob, Jon, and All,

Predator 1.62

I'm unable to load samples into Predator's vocoder because audio files shown in the file selector are grayed out (including the samples provided in the Predator > Samples folder). I've tried accessing various .wav as well as .aif files on my system but in all cases the file names are grayed out.

Also... when I click the file selector's Cancel button to close the file window, the window closes and then opens right back up again. Hitting Cancel a second time finally makes the window disappear.

Advice appreciated!

Hi Peter,

Thanks again for the report. We will check this. You are at Mac and using Logic?

Hi Rob,

Thanks for your reply. I'm using an 8-core MacPro, OSX 10.6.8, Logic 9.1.5

Regards,

Hi there

This seems to be just a problem with the 64 bit version, which will be fixed in the next version.

cheers

Thanks for taking the time to get a-sleuthin' on this problem.

Indeed I work only in 64-bit mode in Logic when tracking and 32-bit for mixing. At the moment I'm tracking so I would have never found this out on my own. And glad to know that you can fix this in the next version!

Listen, I have to tell you... it's extremely gratifying (and thus I am very grateful) to get such quick replies from yourself and Rob, especially considering that you're in the middle of working on a new plugin. It occurred to me that I paid only $20 less for Predator than I did for my DAW, but the developer of said DAW doesn't have the willingness (though they DO have the resources) to provide even a shadow of the kind of customer service I've received from you guys. So, kudos to you and for keeping the spirit of customer <--> software developer communication alive and well.

Best Regards,

Peter

No problem at all, we do appreciate being informed about bug so that we can fix them, because we do want our software to be working as well as possible, and removing bugs reduces the amount of support work we have to do as well.

At the moment I'm planning a late March / early April relase for this update version of Predator.

Cheers

Jon
