I didnt buy BASE, but I took advantage of the fact that the iPad version of Animoog was cheap.

bought it and well... A preset is a preset...
hogo - Tue Apr 03, 2012 2:22 am
i bought it, not for the bodily function sounds per se, but for the new timbres that can be used for ANY type of sound Smile

Actually, for me, the best of this update is the metronom clicking during the recording. That was really needed.

The metronome click was a part of the free Ver. 1.0.2 update which also included a fix to the start/stop button.

I bought the $0.99 BASE pack mainly for the 40 additional timbres. The presets are silly, and maybe one or two of them are slightly useful. The new timbres should come in useful down the road, though.

Didn't notice the metronome till this version. Maybe an iphone/ipad thing.
But yeah, the new timbres are very welcome indeed.

All the new timbres are prefixed 1A_

Really enjoying these, not nearly as gross as the names suggest.
Though I still want more timbres!

I just got around to getting the base pack, but it seems the store is offline. All I see is a greyed out "Sounds" and no base pack. Is there a trick to this.?
bftucker - Tue Apr 17, 2012 5:32 am
The BASE pack was released on April 1st. This should tell you something. Not all that funny when you think about the $1 spent really.
Breeze - Tue Apr 17, 2012 5:49 am
LOL! Pwned! I just watched the video... boy I was out of this loop. So the discussion of new timbres was a setup? Too much...
JavaJ - Tue Apr 17, 2012 1:52 pm
seriously- they made you pay for a $1 prank.
Scott Murrell - Tue Apr 17, 2012 2:46 pm
---I might be different but nobody forced me to buy anything and for the dollar I got sounds.

Yes but haven't really had a chance to try them all yet, they seem pretty usable, the ones I tried tho.

They sound really good. I prefer them to the factory presets as I can see myself using the RD presets more often than the ones that came stock.

Thanks for the link. Yup, definately some nice stuff to add to the presets. Might just be worth the $2. Guess I will skip my coffee today then (and that is tough for JavaJ!)
