Hi there,

As much as I love almost all Melda plugins, I'm never able to get a good sound out of MReverb (no offense intended). It always sounds artificial, platic-ish to me and nowhere near the sound of e.g. EAReverb or ValhallaRoom. No biggy so far as I happen to have those two other reverb plugins so I can always use those instead of MReverb.

But now with MXXX a good (algorithmic) reverb module is a painful omission. Convolution reverbs can only go so far and are typically not very tweakable in real time. So Vojtech, may I kindly ask you to consider a new reverb module? Maybe you can get one of those Reverb specialists on boat (like Sean Costello of ValhallaDSP) or license one of their algorithms?

Or is it just me that I can't dial in a lush, creamy reverb in MReverb?

As I said - no offense intended. It is just natural that you can't be an expert in every field.

Regards,
Andre

Don't worry Andre, no offense taken Wink. From my experience reverbs are the most "personal" things. I received several emails saying the MReverb sucks as well as those that say the MReverb is the best reverb they have heard. So I think there is just no way to make a reverb that sounds good to everyone Smile.
Anyway at the moment there's no time to focus on another reverb algorithm, though I'm thinking about it, because I'm kind of interested in these things too. So maybe later.

I totally understand that you can't currently focus on a new reverb and I'm looking forward to the things to come. Thanks a lot!
