Is there anyone here who's
not going to buy this?

I am going to demo it first I expect, but this has got to be one of the best reverb deals I've seen in a while.

You're obviously lost in VST land.

Bearing in mind that is the cut down version. Tsar-1r not Tsar-1
no doubt still a good deal

I downloaded the demo today and tried it. It's good but I still prefer my MPX.

A Ferrari is being sold half price but it has to be bought with a credit card.
The potential buyer: "Credit card!!!!

"
(Sorry but it has been a while since I last saw a car analogy in kvr...

)

Wow, these guys are quickly winning my favour.
So any other opinions on Tsars little brother? I think this is an even better deal now. I have Aether and LX480 to compare it to, I think it will compliment them but haven't got around to demoing it yet. Lexicon is still too expensive for me, maybe on a sale or used.

Hmm I demoed it finally. I don't know what to think yet. Sure for folks dealing with acoustic sources but I am not convinced I have any need for it.

I said the same about all reverbs purchased, but then like a whimsicle vow to celebacy ended up f..... it
In all seriousness I really like the Tsar revern and the full version is excellent for my needs. It's my goto over the Lexicon LXPs. Saying that this and Valhallas room has goto earn a lit of love.
Oh and dont forget Breeze...not that I actually use it
I think this is a great offer for a quality reverb tbh.

I was able to get another ilok demo asset even though I'd already demoed it last fall. I did the full and R versions then to see the difference. At the time, I think you could either get the two reverbs or their small bundle that included the R version for 150 to 160 dollars. The reverbs sounded decent, but I passed. They didn't knock me over, as didn't the Flux IRCAM Verb Session which was similarly priced. There were one or two others in the price range that I tried and was even less impressed. I still haven't demoed any of the Lexicon plug-ins. I'm going to give the 1R a fair shake this time, But I think I'm good with Valhalla, Sonnox and a few others that I probably couldn't sell if I wanted to at this point. I do really like that little TC M30, so much so that I considered getting their cheapest interface to get the M40. If It had been USB, I probably would have.
