why not add a randomizer to each control as you build it, save a lot
of work later on? could have random:all or groups of params...
??

This reminds me much more of the C64 days than any other SID-emu has done so for!
Are those columns up left corner what I think they are? Wavetable-sequencers?
Do let me know if you want help on making some sounds for this beast!
odo - Tue Jul 10, 2012 3:48 am
Hi Metal
here are 5 wavetables
1 for the big seqencer and 4 with only 4 steps.I made those for the drums effect ect.

Ok. I would suggest making room for 8 steps - for drum effects 4 steps isn't enough.
E.g. a typical snare looked like this:
Noise
Square
Square (4-5 notes lower)
Noise
Square (lower again)
Loop (2 steps up)
Big arpeggio-chords also took up more than 4 steps.
odo - Wed Jul 11, 2012 5:57 am
When i make a snare i use
noise
pulse/square
pulse/square
noise
some times loop step 3-4
But i'll add 2 more steps.The 4 arps will be 4 steps for now.Maybe in release v1.1
BTW i use SDI to make music on a real c64.What prg do you use ?
odo - Wed Jul 11, 2012 7:20 am
every seq/wave table has 6 steps now

Have to try to make the skin a little bit smaller now

I dont really make music on the c64 anymore, but when I did I used the JCH newplayer editor. There's a lot of new editors around these days and I know several guys using the SDI, but also the Viruz Editor is a cool one.
odo - Thu Jul 12, 2012 8:55 am
i tried it looks very cool yes

I used 3 or 4 trackers and i always go back to SDI

That or having a tabbed interface with larger controls. I'm almost blind and I can hardly see anything on your interface.

But it looks good no less.
odo - Wed Jul 18, 2012 6:54 am

i have no problems on a 24inch
odo - Wed Jul 18, 2012 7:05 am
But thanks for the tip

odo - Wed Jul 18, 2012 8:40 am

Look here

xoxos - Sun Sep 02, 2012 11:26 am
someone said that already i'm sure
metal - Mon Sep 17, 2012 11:20 pm
I'm not sure about that circle around the parameters. I would rather have suggested something involving the big function buttons from the c64 (F1-F8 ).. but really like the colors and the massive amount of parameters to mess with. If the filters are reasonably modelled then this could easily be the best C64 emulation yet.
mztk - Tue Sep 18, 2012 8:37 am
has anyone ever done a rotating GUI? have tabs around the edges,
and as you hit each one, it revolves into place -only kidding, but
you could have the tabs all the way round the central display,
would be different..
odo - Tue Oct 09, 2012 10:28 am
I have to stop for a few months sorry new meds and with them i can't think
