Written and recorded after the last one back in 2004.
Rockstar_not: Transit of Venus
If you missed the one today, you'll not have another chance in this lifetime unless some medical breakthrough happens and we all live through 2117.

Very good, it nicely conjures up the majesty of the event.
I saw the transit in 2004, and got up for sunrise today (I'm in the UK) - there was less than a minute where the sun was half-visible through cloud, and only one of the ten photos I took actually showed Venus, just on the edge of the sun's disk - I reckon I was lucky to have seen it at all!

Lovely, haven't hear this in a while. Thanks for sharing it again, Scott!

Nice dramatic atmosphere, appropriate for the event
Well done, Scott.
Cheers

In south Germany I haven't seen anything today from the transit of Venus. Clouded sky, and no sun at all.

Evokes Pink Floyd.

wonderful slow building chord at the start.
the guitar could be up a bit against the sustained chord.
very nice, majestic yes, cool piano bits in there.

Lovely sounds. Definitely appropriate accompaniment for celestial happenings. Great guitar tone on here and I like the sense of slow movement.
+1 to that Floyd reference.
Great track

Thanks all who have replied.
This is one of my fave tracks from the past and I figured that the astronomical event of the last week warranted me dusting it off to put here in the cafe once again.
