Real nice knob twidd`lin John!
Very much enjoyed that...well done!
Was that repeat at the end,(and all through),a vst/vsti?
Just can`t think of an vst effect that will do that just now...have hardware that will.
vurt - Mon Jun 07, 2004 3:40 am
all software from start to finish
ill have a look later and let you know what i used Cool

glad you enjoyed it tho

its mainly cameleons with cats and stuff resynthed so it may be something to do with the resynthing Confused

Just listened to "pluto and beyond".
Your using repeats in that one also...although just a few repeats...stereo echo or something.
-But,on this one your doing a much longer repeat number...like an echoplex sort of thing.
vurt - Mon Jun 07, 2004 4:26 am
just had a look at both of them and only delays aside from internal instrument delays are morphing delay and a couple of orions own

hope that helps Smile

Edited question....better grammar.hehe

Well....maybe...I`ll ask it as a question,
"do you have a vst that will continuously repeat an audio sound played through it, without the sound decaying?"

Don`t have orion or know the morphing delay.

Thanx a bunch!!! Smile
CypherOne - Mon Jun 07, 2004 4:39 am

im not a 100% sure what you mean

let me see,is it a sound that just doesnt seem to stop as if it is it maybe just a long release and as i tend to have my host set around 30-40 bpm it does tend to be long

i will have another look at this thread tomorrow when i get home from work,im a bit tired right now,but i hope to help in any way

this track uses 3 cameleons and an imposcar
tother uses 2 M42s,so nothing in common im afraid cept the delays Confused

Haven't been able to listen to this tune yet coz at work and we cant d/load mp3's Sad , but I wonder if you set the delay at 100% mix and 100% feedback it will keep going continuously... or if it isn't as easy as that...

have you joined Gladiators now then Mr Camel Dude?
annode - Mon Jun 07, 2004 8:58 am
Hey John,I`m a twit...just went through some delays I have to see that many of them can be tweeked to repeat allmost continually!
Damn...I never tried it!..Duhhhhh Shocked

The best I have so far is the lexicon psp 42.It can be set for a 10sec delay, and continuous repeat!
It decays very slowly and as it does,it inherits distortion too!!!!

Very cool!!! I`m a twit, but a happy one now! Very Happy

Yeah man. Remember Hunter? He was the one that was going out with Jet (Diane Youdale or something) who was by far the fittest gladiator. She ran around on telly in lycra getting all sweaty and grunting when i was in me early to mid teens. She was great. Love

nah i've been meaning to get rid of the camleherder name for ages. was thinkin i could change it every week just to confuse and annoy people... tee hee HiHi

Top choon vurt, liked the cat noise the best Cool

Thanx John,I`ll check into both of those.

Finishing up a piece now in which I used 10 sec delays on a few Hendrix snippits running over my sounds.
Hope to have it up today! Cool
