Seems like a very cool thing, yes. Check out the video demo on this web site (you need to scroll down quite a bit): http://www.sonicstate.com/news/videos.cfm#.

Wouldn't mind going for that Radias myself if I could justify the expense... :-)

It will always be true that the most important thing for a music creator is to have great sounds to inspire and help realize your ideas.

Looks interesting, not many notes though?.....mmmmmmm

The small keyboard has octave buttons. :D

The microX looks f*cking sweet, man. It has ALL of the Triton Classic's sounds, plus 34mb of more sounds! I still wonder though... weren't the Triton Classic's sounds the same as the Trinity's?

I know one of the guys behind a lot of the sounds in the MicroX's new 32MB bank and was privvy to some of them last year. I have to say they are pretty awesome, especially when you consider the small amount of space they have to squeezr them all in to.

I had a play with this at Sounds Expo last month and was very impressed :)

I'm still not sure what to make of the sound. The orchestral and ethnic sounds sound kinda weird. I'm not sure if that's the person playing it or if the sounds are just... weird like that.

Yes it does have all the Triton's sounds. But like the Triton LE, Triton TR etc. it has only 1 insert effect instead of 5 of the full Triton.

Let's face it, alot of hardware sounds rely heavily on fx, so from what I've heard, the Triton LE etc. don't sound very impressive.

Still it looks like a cool little keyboard at a nice price. Too bad its not 37-key though... I am no pro piano player but two octaves just isn't enough.
