Hello,
i need some serious help on edirol orchestral
I use it on fruity loops and find myself opening 6 applications to make an orchestral section
Is there any way to just use one application and use different instruments?
I only get the option to choose the first instrument
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Yup. The secret is the MidiOut plugin.
1. Load orchestral.
2. Add a MidiOut.
3. Set the out port of orchestral (digits upper right corner) to 0. Also set the MIDI channel (1 - 16).
4. Set the in port on the MidiOut to 0.
5. Instead of using the orchestral you use the MidiOut to play it's notes.
6. You can use the program menu to assign different patches.
7. You can use the right bank selector (above patch menu) to set what group you want to use. They are:
0: String ensembles
1: Solo strings
2: Brass ensembles
3: Solo brass
4: Wood/wind
5: Keyboard
6: Drums & percussion
8. Repeate step 3 - 7 for each part you want to add.
9. Mission acomplished. Now you have 16 different orchestral parts to play with. Have fun!
