it would be very nice to have something like this -- along with the elastique stretching... is there any (moderately simple and inexpensive) vsti that does this?
takes a wav sample, slices it, and maps it to midi notes?
even then, it would have to insert the notes into the piano roll like fl slicer does...
man, nothing comes close to the slicer

There is arcDev's Haxxor which is free and very good, and also timestetches your samples to fit host tempo, but it doesn't automaticly slices your loops & you have to enter the notes your self...
