not an automation issue

I started a brand new song

wrote two or 3 note of midi

whenever i press stop.....the sound either changes
or it's volume is turned wayyy down.

i think i am going to watch a bit of television, calm down, go to sleep, and see what happens tomorrow.

I'm a little pissed because since i reinstalled my pc a couple of days ago, I could never GET BACK TO WORKING ON THE ASCTUAL MUSIC.
Everytime I try to make sure everything is working fine, something comes up.

And do you know when all that trouble started ?

FRom Sonar 5 to Sonar 6
I Think i'm going back to number 5 if this keeps up
(maybe it has nothing to do with it, but I can't remember the last time I had an issue with sonar 5 and I can't remember a single day of trouble free music with sonar 6.)

If you're using Junatik, the mod wheel's assigned to volume. Sonar will reset the controllers on stop. Hence, Junatik's volume will go to zero.

Go to the properties page for the volume slider and uncheck activate MIDI in.

Or go to your global properties/MIDI out page in Sonar and uncheck zero controllers at stop.
