OK an internet mystery - what happened to Klangformer?

I have their synths so I'm not searching for them. I'm just curious what happened to them or him (ijason?)
What's weird is an internet search for klangformer, ijason, or anything associated with them comes up with 1 or 2 hits and they are to kvr-vst.
Surely these guys are working for someone doing this stuff. If so I'd like to know so I can try and buy whatever they have developed recently.
Sonic, Rebel, Ninja and Klangformer Beta are in a class by themselves, nothing compares to them and they are the best for electronica/club/dance music as well as industrial and industrial/metal like KFMDM.
Thus my curiousity, how could such talent and creativity just disappear without a trace, or is it they have just retreated to the German world out of reach from prying English speaking probing. LOL

It seems he really has moved on - in fact sadly, it sounds like he has passed away. Apparently killed in a car crash according to comments in this other recent thread [EDIT:I'm not sure if this is true!]:shamann wrote:Not really much there but the Google ads and the old site layout with no plugins. Did Jason move on to bigger, better things, or just move on?

Yes, it is hard to tell the difference between rumor and truth here. I've been wondering the same thing. But his sites have been dormant for a long time, with no changes. He wouldn't be the first person to die but still have a website.

Errr, I think that the "car accident" comment was made as a joke.grease wrote:It seems he really has moved on - in fact sadly, it sounds like he has passed away. Apparently killed in a car crash according to comments in this other recent thread:

Well, he was alive as of Jan 2, 2006, while the guy on the other thread said it had been "over a year" since his accident.
Nothing conclusive, but...

Are you sure that's the same person?

That thread has degenerated into humor (pretty funny too), but I've heard the "jason is dead" rumor before on here, and apparently some people believe it...I don't think it was meant as a joke. But that doesn't mean it's true...who knows...John Vulich wrote:Errr, I think that the "car accident" comment was made as a joke.grease wrote:It seems he really has moved on - in fact sadly, it sounds like he has passed away. Sounds like a joke to me.Aether wrote:I heard from a colleague of his that he was intoxicated while driving. Apparently, the police tried to pull him over after they noticed him swerving on the road, but he was in possession of child pornography (in violation of his probation for a previous offence) and would rather die than go to jail so he drove himself into the side of a building and died 3 days later in the hospital.

It also looks like he made it to Hannover Fair 2006 in April and was slated to assist in the summer semester this year at his university.

I thought the synth interface connection was enough, but now that I see he has a different domain I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't.

Well...it started here...
In any case, I think some people do believe he's dead...but it remains to be seen.
And the part you quote sounds like...well it sounds like a crazy rumor rather than a joke.BFunKu wrote:databass wrote:I don't think he threatened anyone considering the fact that he died over a year ago in a car accident.ew wrote:You can't.
