i posted this in modular with related questions i was asking
but not many picked up on it, so here's interim test version
of another sequenced synth+drum thing:

Thought I had the Poise beta on here, nope just a demo. It would be cool if DLM released Erratic2 as free, it was pretty ambitious.

If you like them on Facebook, I think you get access to the first pack, and also the second pack when the likes exceed 2000, which I hope they do soon

First was the 'Free pack', then the '1000 fans bonus pack'. I think these are all in the same download at the moment.

We're waiting for the '2000 fans bonus pack' which will be released after another 17 likes on facething. See his entry for October 28th 2012 on how the link (is likely) to work for the release so we don't have to download the older stuff again.

Might be old news to some of you but falktx of the KXStudio fame, the Linux audio distro, has ported some of their software to Windows.. Kind of cool, methinks, more Jack-aware Windows apps.

Carla is a plugin host, supposedly runs sf2/sfz too, but I've only been playing around with VST instruments/effects so far.. Comes preloaded with some plugins. Not really production ready, even though it can save sessions, the session cables aren't connected on reloading, so..

I get it up and running with this command: jackd.exe -R -S -X winmme -d portaudio -d "ASIO::ASIO4ALL v2"

That uses Asio4all as you can guess.. 'jackd -d portaudio -l' lists other options. The '-X winmme' gives MIDI support.

Running Jack Control and clicking play syncs play in Carla, so that works too. Too bad Giada doesn't have Jack support on Windows..

Oh, and the version of seq24 (http://www.filter24.org/seq24/) at the official site doesn't work for me, but this one does: http://www.subatomicglue.com/seq24/

Another weekend of geeky noodlery, I suppose..

facebook page...must be great if you're into it, but
i'll have to find the link another time(usual story
with those facebook downloads)
