Does anyone on here have any patches for this ? I know there is probably better vst's out there, but I do enjoy this one.

i think the fun is in the tweaking,i mean it's not that complicated is it?
surely it's better to taylor sounds to fit your song?
ask if there's something you don't get.

I understand it completely, not only did I used to own the real thing, I also still have my Jupiter-8. So I know my way around the interface and what each parameter does on this kind of vst.
The reason I asked about any soundbanks is simple, it is time consuming and distracts my workflow if I need to keep programming sounds. Studio time = money. And at home I switch off from sound making.

ok,i see.
how do you make presets 'fit' into song, though?
i always wondered.

If as an example I want a 'warm pad' or a 'sweeping pad' I could go through a bank of presets and pick one out. Fair enough a little tiny amount of 'tweaking' may be needed (the ASDR perhaps) but nothing that won't take more than a minute to do.

Usually when I am writing some music, I will have a rough Idea about the sounds and it was just a matter of calling up a preset in either the JP-8 / JP-6 / Fairlight, or any other kit I had around, the beauty was, none of them had any effects as part of the preset (reverb / delay etc.)
Like the Jup-6 vst, dry sounds are always better to work with. If I use some vst synths that have effects built in I prefer to switch them off when I audition a patch. :)

Really digging that Spray effect. In fact I was just putzing with it and already it's made it's way into my latest project.
