ok, got the arp2600 to run, and the odyssey and mogue.
minor bit of mucking around to put the gui back on, but is it
ok to do it? there is also a SH-09, but it might be postdawn.
the arp2600 is pretty good, of classical SE construction...
maybe it could be done as a SE 1.1 version. the author?

btw: i want to do a linux install on a multiboot machine, what
is the version to go with? i see something new called Linux Mint,
and there's debian and whatever..what are the options here? oh,
here's another site with ubuntu..so different people do different
releases? :?

I think so, the source has been distributed so anyone can do whatever it wants with it I guess.

Mint is based on Ubuntu which is the most popular distro (meaning the easiest to use) since a while, it's itself based on Debian. Basically you have the choice between a zillion of forks/variants of 4 or 5 base distros which are Debian, Slackware, Suse, Red Hat/Fedora and perhaps Gentoo. Linux is bit like a jungle I feel but I'll move on to Linux myself sometimes in the future.

i have the Buzzmachines packs. what's that about then? Buzz
was a separate plugin format? i never used it. i have the
zip for something called Buzz, and there is also a Buzz to VST
adapter.
-------------------------------------------------------------
i do however have some of those Accousmodules for you:

https://www.box.com/s/lrfbluudwv7536vjakge

SpatRez 8
HeteroSpatFX5
PentaSpat FX 3

and i included also:
SpatHarmo 8 in case

which still leaves the others. there were always so many
plugins on that site, and he kept adding more.
(Spat? spatial, doh...in my search i found Spat.cpp etc in
the CSound pack, so...i twigged)

Thanks for your time looking all this up mztk. I have all the BuzzRoom plugs you've listed.

Buzzkill is a synthmaker plug by Chironex

buzz_effect_adapter.dll is not a vst, it's a Fruity Loops plugin which hosts buzzmachines.

Buzzmachines aren't vsts either but plugins for the Jeskola Buzz tracker, if you're looking for any more of them, you'll net everything that's available by following the links in this thread: http://forums.jeskola.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5 (I am the OP of this thread).

There is a buzzmachine to vst adapter package that floats around consisting of BuzzFXVst.dll, BuzzGenVst.dll, Dsplib.dll and Lee Dragon's Mono To Stereo Wrapper.dll but it's unnoficial and probably illegal as, while Buzz is completely free, I believe there is a $5000 fee to pay to Oskari Tamelin for the rights to host buzzmachines in another software than Buzz.

I didn't have the AcousModules SpatRez 8 so that's cool, thanks.

And since you mention Csound, I am not sure if you guys are aware of Cabbage which can make vst/vsti out of csd files. (Csound required to be installed for them to work). Binaries and examples on google code and some more examples on the Cabbage forum:

https://code.google.com/p/cabbage/
http://www.thecabbagefoundation.org/vie ... 05377590ee

And btw, since I am at it, I should mention that if you are bored and don't know what else to do, some 74 vst plugins can be generated and downloaded from this Faust webpage:
