These come up from time to time, and it's 100% illegal (forbidden reselling of freeware plugins).  :(

Anyone tried Coldcutter by Brighton Art? Download link on Brighton's site doesn't work - it reads Page Not Found. I sent an email to BA asking for fixing this issue but didn't get a response.
Is it worth trying anyway when there's a plenty of powerful software samplers and beat-cutters out there both free and paid?

Shit like that irritates the hell out of me. Even the quotes on that page from music mags are fakes, complete with terrible grammar. I wish I could "report" them somehow. :x

Virtual Aelita...

Only 1.0 version was ever made, 32-bit only and made with SE.

But it sounds so much like an Aelita!! Whoever designed it did a phenomenal job.

Well, Coldcutter's link is fixed. But yes that thing is too old to work with modern DAWs. FL Studio 6 can load it as an effect but it doesn't function.

It would be nice if abandonware were public domain to be altered and made publicly available. I would do it if I had the permissions and the time. I would love to buy a fresh copy of QuadraSid for old-time sake, but ReFX no longer makes it available. This would be an excellent place where old software can have a fresh beginning, breathe life into old products and even genres.
SLH - Yes, I am a woman, deal with it.

Don't know if this has been posted, it came up on my facebook feed. Looks amazing. Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong thread.

Why not try some amazing fractal graphics for your art? I've got a site all about them at JWildfire Sanctuary
