f**k it, let's start the new year of rightly. Peace to both you guys, and sorry for the bullshit. Let's move on.Here's a present for everyone, in the spirit of goodwill:

No mention of these using the search function on KvR, which might be broken for me...
Anyway. These are a bunch of really nice things, Disarray delay is great, and so is the Convolution mixer. Great things for all the FSU people out there.

put her there, lines.
welcome to the crew.
shit happens.
thanks for the contribution to the thread, i believe them have already been posted.
see bud, most of the older stuff listed here is no longer to be found...on kvr, the original sites, other archives....and much of what HAS turned up on gerisc and burnies and others is all the stuff we have found "spelunking" into the past.
so at first glance, yah, it looks like a buncha bullshit links that are all over the f**king place....but in reality, all the stuff is either old versions, obscurities, unknowns, and generally lost/abandoned shit.
sometimes it comes from the actual developer's websites , but that is using the past to get them...kinda convoluted how it works, but generally if someone is looking for something, someone, whee eula permits, will up it for the community.
i have over 50 gogs of music softs, mostly vst/vsti, and much that i'd lost in a hard drive crash has been recovered thru this thread.
tho the focus is on vst, if we find something useful, we up it...caveat emptor is a given...cuz sometimes real early standalones are really useful, sometimes weird "garbage" can be useful, sometimes the "what the f**k?!?!?!?!" factor merits posting.
there are over 20,000 pieces of software in this thread if ya look, and many links will lead you to many other finds.
if ya'll wanna learn, there are ways to surf back in time and find damned near anything.
some of us have found "lost " developers, some of us have reunited developers with their lost software.
see, it ain;t up to ME to determine if something is useful....i'm a guitar player, my bag is more midi synths i can drive with my ax than effects, and if ya asked me to loop a drum part or sequence something, i would personally scratch my nads in abject wonder...that shit is alien to me, but some of the other things ain't..
so yah, while occaisionally we joke around and shit, for the most part this thread is on topic.
Ubi Dreaddd began compiling all the live links into one list, but that is an insanely daunting task for anyone, and as his studio in naples is still under water, i doubt he is too interested in sogging thru the list.
hence, we tend to get a little testy with newbees asking for us to clean this up....i have gone sometimes thru 10,000 pages of bullshit or more in search of one lost gem, so i get pissy quick ( especially with newbees asking via pm for exactly what you seemed to want)
i don;t have the time to go thru 330 pages of shit ...too much like work.
further, better to let others discover how to find things....cuz when they learn to do so, they uncover gems the rest of us miss.
scaring off nekro is a drag....he is a good cat, who has contributed much in his way...i'll get him back in here somehow, i was an asshole to break his balls after the shitstorm yesterday.
anyways...i gotta nother day from hell to go deal with, and ill continue when i get back here to the hospital later this afternoon.
welcome aboard lines, see ya when we look at ya .
peace

You're welcome vst junkie for the non-haircut gui's. I'm really just trying to variate them a little. There's no reason to listen to what people say about them, no one ever says thanks.

I think I have missed some of the show.
Sorry to have been rude with you nekro but I think you deserved it at that point
In case meffy didn't do it, I'd appreciate if you could clean up your posts from the pic with the razorblade dripping with blood before you leave. And all those male crotches as well as you are at it btw
I am sometimes going back and through old pages of this thread or even pick them up from google and frankly I am just supremely annoyed when I fall back on your stuff and not only for their off-topicness.
You know if I want to see disgusting/disturbing stuff I just have to watch the TV news or read newspapers those days, (or rather shall I say, those last years... )
I am not in this thread to get more of it
So I am quite glad you leave the thread cos it means there won't be any of those ugly "surprises" anymore
What I am failing to understand is why you have choosen only this thread to post your "things" repeatedly and not in other ones (as far as I know) and also why you don't open threads in the off-topic forum to discuss all this stuff you have posted about here...
pinkjimi I found several (aprox 10) vsts I did not have amongst the listings you just posted, some acidacide, retordion and coupla others, that's actually quite a good (and even surprising) ratio.
A new and corrected and updated list of free vsts in my possesion is brewing... It'll be called 6000+ this time
I have included thos pluggos ported from mac, still have to finish sorting the Greg Kellum ones, and I am thinking of including all the dx, mfx, winamp and ladspa pluggies that can run through the polac wrappers.
I am also thinking this list is quite good and could serve as the basis to start a free audio plugins wiki with links or something. Thoughts and comments about that welcome.

That Betabugs Scary filter posted recently is real cool, I boosted it with that new Aqualizer eq before it, and ran it into one of my clean amp sims.
It really screamed!

as for nekro @ eidenk
dude, you gotta blame me, i am the fuckin king of off topic, we were just having fun.
folks gotta do that sometimes, or meffy gotta lock shit, and then we ALL lose.
i have a bloody PLETHORA of links in my mozilla download manager, but can't seem to load the damn things or figure out a way to export them from firefox, going back to the last time it screwed up in september..
anyone know how to export the download history in firefox 3, please let me know..
i tried their faq's. waste of time
and at the moment i can't stomach the thought of joining yet ANOTHER bloody forum.
i can say this...
there is some cool stuff waiting to be posted, if i can figure this out..
the file is so big it crashes firefox when i try to scroll to the beginning of it.

Cool, I look forward to the new list!
I don't need any thanks, but people only comment on the gui's. It's freeware, I have the right to do what I want with it. I'm not taking pointers from rude internet strangers.
