I've been following the development of this plugin since I first came to KVR more than 8 years ago. While there were times I did not agree with the direction it was going I was always hopeful that the devs would find their focus.

In the "year of the dirt nap", 2016 has really been good to this plugin. But like so many other stars before it, isn't it time to lay it to rest?

You're right. Tell your sister you were right. It is just starting to get good. May 2017 see this plugin finally get a good import feature.

hoping it becomes MPE compatible soon so I can use it with that controller although I hear it's unstable on the latest build of my DAW.

Can anyone confirm?

Yeah, that’s true! But IMO this unstable behavior brings up a certain flavor which is pleasant. Therefore this plug in is additionally a substitute to all these expensive tape saturators. Really, with all these features this plug in is by far the best purchase ever!

Oh I am sure they will not only stop its developement, they might even find out how to stop this thread. More hype than a '57 strat copy...
