Seems i'm one of the few still posting in this thread. Anyway, Michael i was wondering if you can make a Square edition of Sinus. So the same vsti, but with a square wave.
I'm curious to how it'll sound since i'm using sinus in 2 projects right now and very much enjoy how it works.

(Maybe you can have a look at the cpu usage too.)

Kind regards,

zeep

Allways intresting what sinus waves can do. Downloading it. I remember late back in 2002 when I created Subfood for my brother. It became an instant hit and he is still using it in his tracks. And has done that in 95% of all his tracks.
Best regards from Johan Brodd.

i agree! :tu:
and bump!
another supaeasy to use synth for sinus stuff is LanStarr Synth2bass, the cutdown (and free) version of Starrsynth custom made for bass only
http://lanstarr.com/

i had so much QUICK joyful time setting some simple layers of sinus and triangle waves for sub lines with the synth2bass version, that i had to donate to get the full aswell, even if the bass version was already all i really needed, at the end of the day..

update coming soon:

already done:
- hz display
- 108 collected inbuilt microtunings
- microtuning scale / shift

and yes a square / saw version is a good idea.

Post

Glad to hear about the update Michael! Good luck.

I hope you keep it nice and small like it's now. Thinking minimal i was wondering what benefits does the instrument get from microtuning scales?

bumpity bump :)

I always use simple sine waves in my tracks and I always end up loading Synth1 or CM-101 and creating a sound from those (I LOVE the sines on CM-101). But downloading right now, let's see what it sounds like! :D

Post

Does the cm-101 have a glide or portamento function?

Post

Yep, CM-101 has portamento!

I can't find the old Arcade2 thread.

Arcade2 works great, and so does Arcade2.1 but 2.1, you can't unload the plug in Reaper or it crashes if I remember, I haven't unloaded that plug in a while.

I found my Arcade2 on a disc today, so I'm wondering if the current version will get updated?

I can't find the CM-101 vsti anywhere. Too bad, i wanted to give it a try. It seems to have come as a freebie with computer magazine years ago so i figured i could download it somewhere.

:(

So how is the update coming along Michael? :)

Hi Michael. Not sure what the microtunings add to an already good vsti, but i'm downloading it right now. Thanks for the update.
