Thanks UDM, I can see you are always ready to help and it makes me confident with buying this brilliant soft.
I can tell you most of the time the crash log is; opcode error :7 and last audiomaster error: 53

Is it known of you?

Hello.

Yes, although in that case none is the cause of the problem. But as I said, rest assured regarding this... it's only in the demo.

hi there,

I am using JBridge to bridge Kontakt 5 32b in Cuabse 6 32 b and it loses the output settings. Doesnt happens always, sometimes it loses it, then i close the cubase session reopen it and it loads fine but these are huge sessions taking lots of RAM and i have to spend a lot of time loading and reloading each time.

I read on your website if that happened i should update to the newest version but as far as i know, 1.4 is the last one, no?

Any idea? Thx

Hello!

Could you pm me or email me with your user data? I'd like to send you a test build to try to address this problem. ;-)

Please note though that there's a known issue with Cubase where some plugins will not load their settings when saved in the 32bit Cubase ( natively ) and then loaded in the 64bit Cubase( bridged ). Not sure if it's the same problem, but it has only been reported with Waves plugins so far.

ps: Another though that came to my mind... You said you were bridging the 32bit Kontakt5, if you're on Windows 64bit, try to bridge the 64bit version of Kontakt and enable the "run in existing auxhost" option for it. What could also be happening is that the 32bit plugin starts to use too much RAM and becomes unstable ( the 64bit version won't suffer from this problem, assuming you have enough RAM in your system ).

Ok i had a look at the memory and ideed the last kontakt instance (the one losing the output settings) was the one taking most part of the RAM. I'll have a try purging and loading again the project, if it doesnt work i'll PM you the data.

About jbridging the 64b kontakt5 version, i decided that i wanted to go all 32b cause i still use a lot of 32b plugins. If i bridge the 64b version of kontakt wont it take much CPU oir behave less stable? The reason behind that is that i go 64b (oS)-->32b (cubase)-> 64b (kontakt). So more bridging that if i stay inside Cubase 32b with 32b plugins. Does this make sense or it just doesnt matter? Thx

Post

Hi!

Hum, could be that then...

Actually it's better to bridge the 64bit version of Kontakt, it won't affect stability at all ( in this case, it may even improve it ). ;)

mm..and if i bridge the 64 version and take out the .32 dll from my VST folder...will the 64b Kontakt instance replace the 32b when loading old songs or templates?

Post

Hello.

I recommend that you do a backup of the project, just in case, but, if the bridging file has the same name and it's in the same exact location, you should have no problems.

( Do the same as you did for the 32bit version, but choose the 64bit plugin instead ).

Well, they dont have the same name. One its called Kontakt5.32 and the other Kontakt5.64 i guess.

Should i rename Kontakt.64 to .32 then?

Post

Hello.

You must create the same bridging files type, that is, if you're using Cubase 32bit, you will still choose "I'll be using a x86 host", it doesn't matter if the plugin is 32bit or 64bit, for 32bit hosts the bridging file will still need be a .32.dll type. ;)

ohh..i see. The 32 suffix is about the host, not about the plugin itself.

Thanks so much!

Hi Joao any update are coming? When?

Post

Hello! :)

I am working on a new update, but still haven't got a release date, are you experiencing any issue currently? I can send you a beta of what it's done so far if you want.

Yes i have different problems with various plugins and Sonar X1D (Matthew Lane DrMs just to recall one).
I don't have time to write a proper list with plugs and problems but the real problem is Sonar X1 really a piece of crap, still full of bugs after all that time!
Anyway if you want to send me the beta i'll give it a try.
Best wishes.

Hi.

Please be aware that if you have problems with your host ( without this ), it won't solve the problem most likely, it's not the purpose of the software.

Email me and I'll send you the beta. ;-)
