Did everything you said, but still dont workumd wrote:From the info I gathered so far, it seems that the permissions for the files aren't being set correctly. Why this is happening, I still don't know, at least in my system they are set correctly.
anderskm, could you, set read permissions ( only ) for plugin_name_32 and plugin_name_64 for everyone, recreate the bridging files and let me know if the problem remains?
dusted william, thanks for the pics you sent me. Sorry, back there I meant
sudo /Applications/jBridgeM/config
But you got it working meanwhile, so it's not necessary anymore.
Regarding the automation problem, you'll need to keep the correspondent settings window open, are you doing that ( this is unfortunately a limitation of the bridging process )?
Need testers for my x86 to x64 vst adapter

Could you pm or email me your user data so that I can send you a test build?

The reason I went for the same folder technique is because I have organized all my plugins in a certain way. It would have defeated that purpose plus I don't want to keep files everywhere. I am going to try separate folder technique as soon as I get some free time.umd wrote:Hi!
I don't recommend putting the bridging files in the same folder as the original plugin precisely because strange things can happen, specially if the host doesn't like duplicated plugins or has its own bridge ( it may not know which one to use, it may bridge the already bridged plugins with its own bridge, etc ).
It would be best if you remove all the bridging files that you have currently and re-create them again in a separate directory, and see what problems persist.
I know and the integration between two is very smooth. Like I said, I never had to Jbridge anything as long as I was using Sonar. I recently bought Reaper and I hate it when the 32 bit plugins shows up in a separate window, that's the only reason I tried this. If there is a way to show both 32/64 bit in the same FX window in Reaper then I won't need this at all.umd wrote: ( But remember that Sonar X1 doesn't need them, as it can use jBridge automatically if you choose so )

I understand, but I can't control what the host does, my recommendation is just the "safest" approach.

Hi!
I meant emailing me or pm me with the name/email you used for jBridgeM registration. I wanted to send you a test build, but I don't know where to send it.

Hi there,
I was using jBridge 1.5 with Cubase 7.0.3 on Win7 64 bit quite stable. Since today, I am getting crashes all the time with Miroslav Philharmonik. I did some windows updates. Could it be related? Anyone else having problems?

Hi!
Could you check if something has changed regarding the permissions of the files as shown in pics 1-2 here?
http://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridge/jbr ... ing/782-2/
Some users have reported the same thing after doing Windows updates, but in my test machine I have all the latest updates installed and everything's still working.
Let me know how it goes.

I did all of that as described when installing jBride. Just checked the properties again, they are still as they should be, "run as administrator".

Is that plugin still working correctly in a 32bit host?

Yes, it works perfectly stable in the 32 bit host.

Just installed jBridge newly, always worth a try. So far no hiccup. I hope it stays that way

It's still weird that doing that solved it, but OK, glad you got it working again.

I have JBridge 1.5 installed and using in Live 9 64 bit on Win 7. All the JBridged plugins are working but there is one problem. when I change a preset or any setting within a JBridged instrument plugin, Live no longer receives MIDI. I have to click on Live after changing a preset/setting in order for it to receive MIDI/sound. I was able to confirm this on 3 JBridged instrument plugins so far. This is all I have now for testing but will try a few others later tonight. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? All of my non bridged 64 plugins work without me having to switch back and forth.
