There are 2 new videos on YouTube showing Improvisor in action.
The first one shows the piece as a whole (1492: Conquest of Paradise from Vangelis).

Hello!

I am new in this forum and I am going through a headache trying to make Zyklus work. My setup is:

- Windows 10 64-bits
- Java Runtime Environment 8 64-bits

For some reason Zyklus gives me an error message in the Max Window saying that could not find java runtime environment, therefore cannot initialize the JVM, and I cannot use the software.

I have tried to uninstall Java and re-install a few times, even trying the 32-bit version.

If anyone could possibly maybe shed some light I would be very grateful

There should be a folder on your computer that looks like this:
c:\Program Files\Java\jre7\

In the Max window where you see the error, the assumed path of the missing jre file is shown?

The path is not shown but my java is here:

C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_102

The JVM is here: C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_102\bin\server

I see that Zyklus is looking for the CLIENT folder, not the server, but I do not have a client folder

Any bells ringing?

anyone know if Zyklus can be made to work the Java8 rather then having to install the legacy Java6 SE JRM, which is outdated? (OSX)

Wow, it appears to run on Linux under Wine. I don't have time to try it out, but the GUI comes up and the menus work!
