I never used one but the only thing close to the Transwaves should be wavetable synths (or better: wavetable scanning synths)like e.g. Waldorf Largo, NI Massive, KV331 Audio Synthmaster 2, Zebra 2.5, Surge or the upcoming Waldorf PPG Wave 3.V. Also the Korg Wavestation plugin could do it maybe.

If you want to do patches with four layers like in the Fizmo you could use Waldorf Largo which has the same feature. Also PPG Wave 2.V/3.V has 8 "multi" programs which work like a layer.
With KV331 Audio Synthmaster 2.0 (2.5 with many more features on the way...) you get 2 layers with 2 OSCs each and also the vocoder which the Fizmo has too. Wavetables are created from 2 up to 16 single cycle waves like in Zebra 2.5.
More info about Synthmaster here:

I don't know any softsynth at the moment which contains the Fizmo Transwaves so if that's what you search it will be difficult. I don't know if they are available for Kubik.
There is an Ensoniq SQ80 emulation BTW:

I have just seen that the free version is monophonic and the polyphonic version cost 20$. Is that still true?wakax wrote:is Steam fixed ? i had a few problems with it backthen.

I would prefer not to offer this VST, for some reason it seems to be popular.
I never tried to use Steam with self-created wavetables - will have to do that...

If you want to make your own Transwaves try this app out.
It's called Tranzilon and you can get it here.
