Well, I don't use soundfonts with multiple banks. I think the idea with Phenome is to use simple soundfonts & create multiple layers preset patches in it. Very clever idea! Is there any other bug I'm not aware of? I'm using FL Studio 9 on a Windows 7 laptop & I have zero problems.mabian wrote:... and too bad it has bugs, never fixed even though reported (try Soundfonts with multiple banks in it).
Phenome really had the potential to be the best Soundfont player period.
It never fulfilled the promise for me

Does anybody knows if there's still a way of downloading the free factory banks?

At the top of the browser to the right, there is an option to either choose SF2 (soundfont) or Preset.Smasha wrote:How do I load soundfonts?
Click on SF2 and then use the browser to locate the SF2 file you want to load.
That should be it

Hi, I'm just curious about this layer stuff. I've got a ton of recommended SF2 Soundfonts, and I've been trying to understand how to access all the instruments.
SynthFont, Viena, and Polyphone have all been tried - but it's only today that I'm gleaning some valuable perspective, with Awave. Check out my RolandOrchestralRythm.sf2 soundfont
Polyphone is useful in contrast as it gives a quick visual, re the regions. Ie
So, are the layers accessed by velocity? (I've heard of velocity layers)
Reading AWAVE Help now for layer info.
