Pilchard is working on a monophonic PM Brass VSTi (limited to 5 note bugles at the moment). Early days yet tho, and he's busy with umpteen other things, and not sure about the Stanford patent issues either (prolly will be non-commercial VSTi because of this).
That said, Arturia were mooting a Brass VSTi recently.

Only if yamaha liceneces out the technology to a good VST team. Any software Yamaha puts out themselves usually is pretty terrible as far as interfacing goes.
But I guess any VST version would be better than none.
