Can we uses this in OSC as well? I am asking because it's availability is limited and you have to get a serial number in order to use it.

I was wondering the same, but it changes the nature of the sound too much, it is screamy.solidtrax wrote:Check it out, a freebie from NI:

But let's see what V'ger says.
Anyway once you have used the serial number it will be free forever. Only that you must do it before 31th December.
Have a good day

That's the trouble. Next year it can't be had anymore so obviously out, but for the current competition it should be Ok although the 'easily available' is seriously challenged with having to install a 2nd program to install it and godknows what else.solidtrax wrote:it's availability is limited
Also be careful about its usage as it can easily transform the sound beyond recognition.

That's true v'ger and irion. I will use it for other tracks only then ;-0
Maybe we should wait a few months, but it would be nice if this synth could be in a future OSC: http://www.u-he.com/cms/podolski
u-he is the bomb!!!!!

On a different note: I'm treating myself to an expensive (to me) vst synth this Christmas. The two I have my eye on at the moment are the Synthmaster 2.5, and the Albino 3. I'm sorta leaning towards the Albino as it will go the way of the McRib on the 31st. I'm just not sure that it will offer the widest amount of synth possibilities... any suggestions? Or other synth ideas? Thanks.

I love Albino, and if you're into presets there are a lot available for it. Can't believe it's being left behind. I am still going to use it though, its a classic and it's also a school of knowledge.Robert West wrote:Funny... just downloaded that today, but haven't played with it yet.solidtrax wrote:That's true v'ger and irion. Yes, the Podolski is beautifull. Played with it in the 2007/2009. Nice Synth with a little CPU amount, great for making sounds and FX.solidtrax wrote:That's true v'ger and irion. I will use it for other tracks only then ;-0

Was just listening to some old OSC songs - and there is some really cool stuff, so thanks to all you guys and girls for broadening my music horizon. Nearly also fell off my chair - when I found out that Gargoyle was one of the challenges! I love that little synth.

It looks like TAL-U-No-62 has not been in the OSC contest before, it's 32bit/64bit for Windows and 32bit for Mac.. so... let's do it?

Been toying with the idea of a magware One-Synth-Challenge for a while now, and TAL-U-No-62 is definitely on the short list.
