Juce OPLVst would be a nice one. Pretty exact emulation of the OPL2 chip. It has all 8 Waveforms from the OPL3 but not its 4OP configs. It also supports the OPL percussion mode.zerofox97 wrote:We need another FM Synth, like VST2413.
Don't know if there is a tweak for pitchbend range but that thing is open source so maybe someone can find out.
Previous versions had an issue with the feedback parameter allowing only effective levels from 0 to 3 which was solved in the latest version.
It has a nice UI and you can load and save SBI instrument files.
With a bit trickery and FM knowledge you gan get pretty nice sounds. I even managed to do PWM with that thing.
The aliasing and the envelope gritttiness is very close to the original.
Not as noisy as the 2413 though, but that emulates the previous sound chip anyway.
