When you load Pg8x after this logic to nothing anymore!

(Logic Fehlerbericht)
Thanks for the Fehlerbericht. It gave me some idea where to look and I found something which _might_ have caused trouble. I fixed that now and uploaded a new AU to the dropbox.

Please, let me know whether that fixes the problem.

Thanks,
Martin

I copied the first preset piano 1 from 102a and could not get the "lush" chorus sound, it just sounds not quite there ...

Try it yourself , raise the sustain and try and match the 2, the 102a sounds so much better, deeper wider.

Depth 53 Speed 71 got me close to ch1 but it just is not the same.
Thanks, I will investigate this when fine-tuning all parameters. I noticed myself that the ADSR timings are wrong, especially when using keyfollow above 2.

Right now, my first priority is to get the AU working in Logic.

The GUI will get a revamp once all other things are fixed. I contacted layzer as I liked his suggestion.
gonna ping you with another suggestion with a slightly larger, clearer font.
i think the sliders/knobs size can be 20% larger while keeping the overall
size of the gui the same. whenever you get the engine done, and the control's placement/size decided i can send you a resources zip file :tu:
Yes, I might go back to the original size, I used in the pg8x-1.02 version.
I was even considering making a two-size switchable GUI. Need to investigate how difficult this would be...

I just uploaded a version where I disabled the processSysEx function, which according to your error log caused the problem.

Could you, please, test this one? It is also in the MAC-AU folder.

Thanks,
Martin

Thats it !

Works now,
but the syx function is important :)

OK, that's good news. At least it gives me some indication where the problem lies.

Thanks for all the testing.

Do you have some sysex (*.syx) files? In this case, you could try to load a file using the LOAD button and select the sysex file. This will use the same function. I disabled the call to that function from the host, but using the LOAD function, you can still call exactly the same function. I wonder whether this will also crash Logic, or whether that will work...

Thanks,
Martin

OK. I can confirm this in Reaper. The sysex loading works in the VST version, but not in the AU version. At least, now, I have something to debug...

I keep you posted when I find something...

Quick update. I found why the latest noSysex version did not load sysex files via the menu.
Should be fixed now. Please, let me know what it does in Logic.

P.S. I put a .SYX file into the preset folder on the Dropbox. This file loads for me in AU in reaper.

is it just me or is win x32 PG-8X master tuning off by a bit?

when i press a C2, instead of a 65.4Hz... i'm getting a 71hz reading on a tuner VST. other plugins report the correct tuning. anyone confirm???
