I don't think that MicroSoft is going to change Windows 10 so that it will run Retrologue 2... do you?SJ_Digriz wrote:I meant with Windows

You seem to missing the fact that I'm running Retrologue on a computer and 2 laptops all running Windows 10 in multiple DAWs without issue. I would bet a lot of money that it was doing an upgrade instead of an install of Windows 10 that is your problem. The fact that you have to resort to admin program launches to run certain things is a big indicator that your Windows install is faulty.
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

Thanks for your input. OK - Now I see what you mean. Any ideas on how to correct? All my other plugs run fine.???SJ_Digriz wrote:You seem to missing the fact that I'm running Retrologue on a computer and 2 laptops all running Windows 10 in multiple DAWs without issue. I don't know other than installing Windows 10 from scratch. All I'm saying is that you have an installation problem of some kind. I doubt you'll get much help from Steinberg.Integratron wrote: Thanks for your input. OK - Now I see what you mean. Any ideas on how to correct? All my other plugs run fine.???
However, you shouldn't give your help ticket up. Who knows. Although Retrologue is working for lots of people, you never know when someone will find some edge case that gives it a rash.
By the way, do you have a c:\users\documents\steinberg\crashdumps folder?

that file will only get created if there has been a crash. Look at the date and make sure it is current. If it is, send to the Borgz.

I think I would have to attach it to an email. I don't see a way to attach it to a support ticket.SJ_Digriz wrote:Just add it to the ticket when you got a response.Integratron wrote:Yes - they might be awhile getting to me because of their holiday hours.

ok, I've never used Steinberg support, but most of the ticketing systems have a way to attach supporting docs. Maybe they don't and you'll have to wait for the email.Integratron wrote:I think I would have to attach it to an email.
