You could also check the Quadra Kontakt synth from Synth Magic. That one is used by JMJ himself to replace his broken Quadra BTW:

He used Cubase. No Protools synth in there, just
- SuperWave Ultimate
- Steinberg HALionOne
- SuperWave Professional
- SuperWave Performer
- Superwave P80
- TubeOhm BRUNO-205
- discoDSP Discovery (Nord Edition)
- Korg Polysix (Legacy Collection Analog Edition 2007)
- XILS-lab PolyKB II

I am just looking for his special trills and riling sparkling spacey sounds that he uses in his tracks.

Is there a vst somewhere that has this sounds as part of his presets.
Just asking:)

classic.
I assume that by "trills" and "riling sparkling" sounds you mean some of the special effects JMJ uses? If so, I have created some presets for you in Synth 1.
Below you can download the 7 presets you hear in the audio demo, plus a Reaper project file which has some delay effects, should you wish to get that going as well. Also in the project you have that soft glissando patch you hear just at the start of the demo already set up.

JMJ Synth 1 effect sounds from Oxygene

Those sounds were created quickly and some are closer than others, but then it's Synth 1 and not EMS VCS which is responsible for a lot of these effects, so tweak them further. Just note, with 'LaserShot' presets you need to move the mod wheel to change the LFO rate in real time.

Unfortunately these just sound like flat imitations of the real thing... which is why Sytnhix was a disappointing purchase for me...

This is also flat compared to the original. Might just be bad use of reverb but not really in the ball park...

Yes, this is excellent. You can also get in this ballpark with the synth squad Amber.

Are these factory sounds? They sound beautiful.
They're from BigTone's Stratospheres soundset for Zebra

Phantastic set, loads of JMJ and Vangelis style patches.
I love that soundset! Really amazing sounds in there :)

That's what Georges Poropat did with OP-X PRO (the basic one) and Stringer: OP-X PRO - Oxygene 8 cover

Thanks! Credits go to Georges

Here's some more OP-X PRO jarre stuff:

Just make someone happy once in your life : Sell it

Instead of making a rant in each Xils-Lab thread for decades.

Incidentally there are thousands of happy Synthix users, some of them knowing perfectly the Synthex, or owning one.

The Synthix has been chosen recently by a world famous producer, who had many hits, to teach synthesis and give masterclasses in a British university.

But hey what are all these ears worth compared to yours

My current project is inspired by Jean Michel Jarre. I've released one track so far, in a remixed version which adds some drums to make it sound a little more commercial, which won't be on the final version. It uses a phased pad plus some synth bubble sounds which are inspired by Jarre's early sounds.

You can hear the track here - http://soundcloud.com/looneyjetman/deep ... rt-2-remix

The track uses Omnisphere, Z3ta+2 and Albino, amongst others.
